HONDA is finally offering the JDM Civic Type-R in the colors we always wanted them.
For about a year now Honda customers had been requesting a black edition of the Civic Type-R, which was until now only offered in tree colors: White, Silver and Blue metallic.
So it's nice that Honda listened to their customer feedbacks and brought new colors on the market:
- Crystal Black Pearl
- Championship White
- Super Platina Metallic
- Premium White Pearl
- Premium Deep Violet Pearl
Most notably is the black and new pearl white. The JDM Type-R looks just stunning in white, with white wheels, but nothing tops the car in black. Sadly you won't get the white wheels with the black car in a package, but the dealers should help you out here, if you really want that combination.
The JDM Civic Type-R is still advertised at 2,835,000Yen. Even no new improvements or power upgrades had been added to the new colors, the car is still the bargain it was a year ago. Noting that the JDM Type-R bashes the Euro-Type-R in every domain, handling, power and track times. Several european magazines had tested the two cars side by side and the JDM Type-R nearly cut off 3 seconds from the Euros times on a race track.
This Type-R is for the moment the best value in the middle class sports sedan range.
