NISSAN has clearly revived the legend with the R35 GTR. The car has now been on sale in japan since november 2007 and first orders going back to 2006.
For the R35 GTR it is now time for some minor changes. What is interesting here is the question if all non-japanese versions of the GTR will already have these improvements in 2009?
The first major change is the engine management CPU. The engine develops now 485ps/6400rpm instead of the previous 480ps/6400rpm. The fuel economy is a bit better, thought it is a bit ironic to speak the words "ECO and GTR" in one phrase, previously 8.2km/L, being now 8.3km/L.
Other improvement are the new structural shock absorbers with a complete suspension resetting. Thought does Nissan not say if the mentioned additional comfort, will affect handling on a circuit, as the front springs get raised a bit.
Also the fuel tank capacity gets bigger.
On the cosmetic side the brilliant white pearl color will be added to the existing colors, as well as new wheels for larger tires.
Prices start at 8,610,000Yen for the standard GTR, 8,820,000Yen for the Black Edition and 8,820,000Yen for the premium.
